Mark 10:1-2. February 28, 2025. May I come to you always with truthfulness, Lord.
A Prayer for Truthfulness and Guidance
As you pray with me, make the words your own. Lord Jesus, I come to you with humility, acknowledging my doubts, fears, and numerous needs. You are my all-knowing teacher, with answers to every question and solution to every problem. Just as the Pharisees attempted to test you with tricky questions, yet many sought your guidance, I pray to approach you with honesty, truthfulness, and love. May my faith be strengthened, trusting that you hold the answers to all my difficulties. As I come to you, fill me with the graces I need to respond to others with wisdom. May your guidance enable me to provide thoughtful and compassionate support. My wise Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.

Grant me the grace to serve you wholeheartedly, doing my best to honor you. Help me appreciate the good deeds of others, acknowledging the unique ways they serve you. Protect me from jealousy and envy, that I may not hinder others from serving you in their own distinct ways. Instead, give me the grace to focus on my own radical commitment to serving you. My generous Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.

Lord, I acknowledge that my understanding is limited unless you enlighten me. My all-knowing Jesus, you intentionally spent time with your disciples, teaching them valuable lessons. I recognize that my knowledge is derived from you. Teach me your truth, guide me in your ways, and reveal your statutes to me. Since I can only share what I’ve received, fill me with your wisdom. Grant me the grace to listen, understand, and obey your will. Just as you invited your apostles to spend quiet time with you, you also invite me to solitude and contemplation. Help me cherish this invitation and respond to it daily. May our times of solitude deepen my relationship with you and equip me to follow your desires. My Divine Lord, I trust in you. Amen.

Mighty Jesus, you are great and powerful. I acknowledge and praise your supreme authority over the forces of darkness. Your deliverance of the boy from the demons of muteness and deafness is a powerful reminder that overcoming temptations is not a one-time victory but a continuous pursuit of steadfastness. Teach me, Lord, to strive not only to overcome temptations but to remain steadfast, resisting the enemy’s attempts to lead me astray. Grant me the grace to stand firm against temptation, and may your power be my strength. My all-powerful Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.

Standing on your promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against your church, I claim your mighty protection upon my life, my family, and friends. I acknowledge your sovereignty, Lord, over your church, the world, and our lives. May we forever find shelter under your wings, Lord God of hosts. Mighty Jesus, protect me and mine now and forever. Your love and grace surpass the wealth of all nations, bringing me joy, happiness, and contentment. You are my treasure, my heart’s desire. As I reflect on your Word, I’m reminded of the miracle you performed for the blind man, healing him privately and restoring his dignity. Your ways are not our ways, but I trust that you always have our best interests at heart. Thank you, Lord, for your goodness and faithfulness. I trust that you will provide for me in due time, according to your perfect plan. My Jesus, I place my trust in you. Amen.

You healed, in need of Your touch. Mighty Jesus, I implore You to place Your healing hands upon my ears and mouth. Grant me the ability to hear You with understanding and proclaim Your good news with ease. I also bring before You my family and friends, asking that You pronounce Your healing upon their ears, mouths, and entire bodies. Free them from any obstacles that hinder them from hearing, proclaiming, and serving You comfortably. Often, Lord, my sinfulness has caused me to miss out on Your mercy. Yet, in Your compassion, You forgive all my iniquities. With humility, faith, and hope, I come before You, entrusting to You all those who are under the influence of evil, especially those seeking prayers. I ask that You feed them with the food of healing and deliverance. Jesus, my Lord and Healer, I trust in You. Amen.

Help me to be mindful of my innermost thoughts and feelings, that my words and actions may be purified before they come to pass. Give me the strength to uproot every evil thought that seeks to take hold within me and defile me. Empower me to overcome every vice and impurity that resides within me. Give me the grace, dear Lord, to listen to Your Word with an open heart, letting it transform me. May I think positively, act righteously, and repent when Your Word reveals my wrongdoings.
