Matthew 25:20-21 August 31, 2924. Help me to be successful with my own talents, Lord.

O Lord, thank you for the many talents You bestow on your servants here on earth. You desire that Your servants double up their talents and not to lazy them.  Help me to be successful with my own talents, Lord, so that I may serve and glorify You with them. By your Holy Spirit, help me to utilize the talents you give me and bear fruits in plenty, fruits of love, peace, joy, happiness, wisdom, understanding, Piety, knowledge, counsel, and fortitude. Lord Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 6:25-27. August 29, 2024.  Lord, may Your grace abound when evil shows its ugly face.

My saving Lord, You allowed evil to befall John the Baptist to teach me that suffering is not a sign of disfavor by You nor a sign of abandonment. Lord Jesus, Your Father never abandoned You when You suffered and died to save mankind, you too will never abandon me in my daily struggles I trust. Lord, may Your grace abound when evil shows its ugly face for Your grace and only Your grace is enough for me. My saving Lord, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 23 27:28  August 28, 2024. Lord, I  need your strength, courage, and firmness.

My most powerful Jesus, you never hesitate to rebuke the hard-hearted Pharisees to change. You stood powerful courageous and firm and never afraid to rebuke evil. Dear Lord, help me stand firm on the truth always and rebuke sin and all its tricks in my life.  My powerful Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 23:24-26. August 27, 2024. Sanctify my internal struggles, Lord.

O Sanctifying Christ, your encounter with the Pharisees today shows that you see the heart of men and judge the heart. You know every bit of thing about me; what I think, do, or say. Purify me from within, O Lord, that my outward signs may be sanctified according to your riches within me. Sanctify my conscience, the place where I am alone with you my God. Make it sparkling beautiful, comfortably calm, quiet, and peacefully lying within contrary to a well-arranged dignified physical state that matters not. Help me dear Lord to always look inside and care for our place of meeting where good fruits emanate. My Sanctifying Jesus, I trust in You.  Amen

Matthew 23:13. August 26, 2024. Help me to do what I say, Lord.

My Most Divine Lord, you desire that all who present You to others do that in simple truth and pure love so You may manifest the many virtues You wish to bestow. Help me to present every truth in pure love and not hypocritical. Help me to do what I say, Lord. May your precepts be my guiding rule. May justice and peace reign when the truth is told always. My Divine Lord, I trust in you.   Amen

John 1:45-46. August 24, 2024. Keep my faith even when I’m poor in understanding, Lord.

My loving Jesus, Only Begotten Son of our Most High Father, today your words invite me to come closer to you, see and know more of you. Like Nathaniel (Bartholomew) whose feast we celebrate today, I often doubt some matters of faith that are too deep for me to understand. Help me to keep my faith, dear Lord, even when I’m shallow in understanding. Enlightened the eyes of my mind to see and understand you more. Saint Bartholomew, pray for us. My dearest Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 22:37-39. August  23, 2024. You desire the best thing from me, dear Lord; Lord.

My Loving Jesus, you desire to see me love you with all my heart, soul, and mind and to love my neighbor as myself. Lord, let love be my guiding principle when I am challenged with matters of faith. Holy Spirit my Helper and Director, be my inspiration and help me to love God with all my being. By the grace of fraternal correction, O Lord, may I also love and care for my neighbor’s eternal salvation. My loving Jesus I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 22:2-3. August 22:2024. You invite everyone to a happy life, Lord

My most precious Father, you invite every one of your children on earth to be part of your heavenly banquet; a banquet of happiness, joy, peace, justice, love, and fulfillment. You are a loving and faithful Father who cares about the well-being of your loved ones. You call many but the few who respond are chosen. Help me, dearest Father, that I  may never miss your banquet. May I be ready every moment, every day with my garment on. My most loving Father, I trust in You. Amen

Mathew 29:6-7. August 21, 2024, Help me to be contented with your blessings, Lord.

You are good and generous to all, O Lord my God. You have given a fair share of everything to every one of our children. My Divine Provider, I thank You for Your great kindness and love to all. Teach me to be as generous as You are, and help me never to be envious of my neighbors’ share of Your providence. May I be able to praise and appreciate others for their successes and achievements and be contented with mine. May Your blessings to everyone be my cause of joy. My generous Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 19:24-26. August 20, 2024 You invite me to choose the riches of heaven, Lord.

My lowly Jesus you invite me today to choose the riches of heaven over the passing things of this world. It is a high calling, Lord, and only by your grace can I achieve it. Give me your abundant grace, Lord, that I may work hard here on earth gathering riches that shall never pass away. Help me to live a life of detachment for your sake. My wonderful Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 19:21-22. August 19, 2024. All are called by You to perfection, Lord

My perfect Jesus, today you tell me what it takes to enter heaven. Like the rich young man You invite all to a high degree of holiness and perfection; to keep your commandments and strive to be holy as you are holy, holding nothing back. Give me the grace to understand that you and your holy will are more than everything else. Help me to build the treasure that will be with me forever. My perfect Jesus, I trust in you Amen.

Matthew 19:13-14. August 17, 2024. You ask all your children to come to you, Lord.

Gentle Jesus, you said we should let the children come to you and not disturb them. As innocent as they are, your children are being disturbed from keeping their innocence and gaining the true meaning of love by the bad examples they find around them. By Your grace help me, O Lord to always be of good example to all kids and every child of Yours thereby pointing them to You who are their Father so good. May the grace of their early baptism and the love of their parents strengthen all children to come to you and know you as their only Lord and God. My Jesus, Friend of children, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 19:11. August 16, 2023. You are always Faithful to your people, Lord.

My loving Jesus, today you compare your love for your people to the loving, sacrificial, and selfless love that is supposed to be in marriage. Even when I make mistakes and have many weaknesses, O Lord, you remain faithful to your love for me; you will never abandon me till I fully repent. Help me to love truly and fully as you love, seeking first the good of others beginning with my marriage. Only by your grace, O Lord, can I do this. My Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Lk.1:46-49. August 15, 2024. You are a Lowly Servant remembered by God, O Mary.

O Holy Mother, in your song of praise; the Magnificat, you did not only praise God but revealed who you are to me. You are the one whose soul glorifies God and whose Spirit rejoices in God because of the great things he has done for you. You, are a lowly servant remembered by God and whom all generations shall call blessed because of what the Lord has done for you. I join the angels and saints together with all God’s people to honor you today, O Most Holy Mother. I will also join you to sing praise to God On your feast Day, the day you reunited with your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, and all the heavenly saints body and soul to live forever praising God. Mother Mary, Queen of the universe, intercede for us and cover us with the blue mantle of your protection. Amen

Matthew 18:19:20. August 14, 2024. You are always with us, O Lord,

O Lord my God, how wonderful are your promises to us? When we gather in your name, You are there with us. When we agree and pray for what is the truth, your heavenly Father will grant us. When we do what is your will, you are there with us. You would never abandon all who gather in your name and your will.  I surrender all our supplications to you, O Lord Jesus, believing and trusting that it shall be granted us by Your heavenly Father as You have promised us. Help us, O Lord, to always be united with you in prayer especially in Holy Mass, in our families, meetings,  social media, and wherever we gather in your name and will. My dearest Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 18:12-14. August 13,2o24.  It is not your will, O Lord, that I should be lost.

O Lord Jesus, you are my Shepherd and my friend. It is not the will of your Father, that I should be lost. Oh my Good Shepherd,  do not let me go astray.  It is not easy to stay on the right path through life, but Lord I know that with your guidance everything is possible. I am sorry for all my sins, O Lord, forgive me and bring me back to you. Never let me stray from You for You and You alone fulfill me and give me joy and happiness. My Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 17:25-27. August 12, 2024. You can do everything, You are awesome, Lord

You died on the cross for me, O Lord, not because you cannot save yourself but because you love me and wish to save me from eternal death. You are an awesome God, the God of miracles. You raised the death, you set captives free, you fed the five thousand,  you walked upon the waters and today you have paid your temple tax with a coin from the mouth of a fish.  How wonderful you are! You take away my fears and give me faith, courage, and hope through your deeds. I see your miracles in my life every day Lord when you fill me with your transforming grace that gives me clarity and, enables me to do your will without fear. My Lord Jesus, you are trustworthy and I trust in You. Amen

John 12:25. August 10, 2024. It is Your desire, Lord, that I gain your blessings.

O Lord my God, you would not love to see anyone of yours love his life and lose it but rather you would love them to hate their lives and gain it.  It is your desire, O Lord, that I hate my life and gain it. Out of love and selflessness, you gave yourself to die on the cross for me. Help me to grow in selflessness and self-giving so that your desire may come true in my life. My demanding Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 16:26. August 9, 2024. Be the single object of my desire,  Lord

I praise and thank you,  O Lord my God for the many good gifts you lavish the world with. Your divine providence is seen everywhere for the good of mankind.  It is your desire that mankind may live happily enjoying your beautiful creations.  O Lord my God,  though there are many things to enjoy, may You and only You be the single object of my desires in this world. What would profit me if I gain the whole world and lose you? Nothing,  you are the maker and giver of all good things,  if I have you, I have everything. I can not thank You enough, dear Lord, I’ll praise and worship You forever.

Matthew 26:22-23. August, 8, 2024.  My place of refuge, solace, confidence, and joy is behind you, O Lord my God

Oh Lord, my Leader, and my God, only you are my Leader who conducts me through the right paths to righteousness. It is you, O Lord who knows the way, the truth, and the life. How wonderful is it when you lead and I follow? My place of refuge, solace, confidence, and joy is behind you, O Lord my God. Like Peter, I will not go before my Lord lest He rebuke me, “Get behind me satan.” I will walk behind my Lord in safety, peace, confidence, and joy for you O Lord, are my shelter and my Leader through the valleys, mountains, and forests of my life. Only you, O Lord, are the Lord of my life.  My Dearest Jesus,  I trust in you.  Amen 

Matthew 15:21-23 Wednesday, August 7, 2024, I come to You not because I am perfect, Lord

O Lord my God, I come to you day and night not because I am perfect but because I believe you are merciful, kind, and full of compassion. You were silent at the Canaanite Woman’s plea because you had a reason, so I believe you have a reason when I call and you are silent. All I know is that you, O Lord are the Messiah, my Lord and my Savior who liveth and reigneth above all forever.  My Jesus I trust in you. Amen

Mark 9:5-7. August 6, 2024. It is good to be with you, Jesus, Beloved Son of God.

My Lord and my God, it is good to be with you. Like Peter today, I  say too, “Rabbi, it is good to be here!” It is good to be with the one who holds all authority, knows all, and is Omnipresent. Like Peter, James, and John, I will go with you up the mountains, down the valleys, wherever you invite me to experience your glory for you are the only Begotten Son of God, my Good Shepherd and friend. You invited them to prayer and in their prayer you revealed the magnificent glory of your kingdom. Be thou exalted now and forever, O Beloved Son of God, my Lord my God. Amen
