Jesus, the Unquenchable Light Of My Life
A Prayer to the Unquenchable Light
Lord Jesus, Unquenchable Light of my life, I cherish our friendship, for You illuminate my path and dispel darkness. Your radiance transforms my world and revives my soul. When I stray and are lost, Your forgiveness and healing restored me. Now, I implore You, dear Jesus, shine Your light upon me. Fill my thoughts, words, and actions with Your brilliance, that I may behold Your splendor. Illuminate my entire being, dispelling the power of darkness. May sin and fear not separate me from your loving presence. You are my guiding light, my shelter, and my hope. My dearest Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.

These incidents reveal Your mighty power at work in His life. You, our Great and Mighty God, condescended to dwell among us. Like Simeon and Anna, I bear witness to Your mighty handiworks in the world today. You continue to inspire, heal, and reveal Yourself to Your people. You rescue the poor and set the captives free. Your powerful miracles abound everywhere, demonstrating that You are, indeed, a God of miracles and wonders. I pray that You will continue to perform Your wonderful works among us, establishing Your kingdom strongly on earth. May Your glory be revealed, and may Your people be empowered to fulfill Your purposes. Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.

Yet, I often fail to fully believe and trust Your words to me. I hear but neglect or take Your message for granted. Like Zechariah, I often suffer the consequences of disobedience. Help me, dear Lord, to learn from my mistakes and forgive me all my sins. Grant me the grace to welcome Your daily message with faith, even when I don’t fully understand it. You are calling me today to stay prepared, straightening paths, smoothing my way, and taking out all obstacles on my way to You. May I hear and act on Your voice coming to me today through John the Baptist. Open my eyes to see the obstacles in my life that prevent me from coming to You and give me the grace of transformation straighten them up and smoothen my life.

Like the multitude You fed, may Your good deeds inspire me to a firm attachment to You. Your mighty hand continues to work wonders in the world around me. Open my eyes to see Your handiworks and fill me with the grace to cling to You always. May my desire and love for You grow deeper, enabling me to desire You always. My loving Jesus, I trust in You. O Lord, my God, You are eternal, unchanging, and ever-present. You blessed the eyes of Your Apostles, granting them the privilege of seeing You, the One many longed to see but never did. I believe You are with us always, until the end of time, just as You promised. I hear Your voice in Scripture, see Your presence in the Blessed Sacrament, and witness Your miracles in the world around me. Open my eyes, Lord, to see Your face in all these ways and in every aspect of my life. May I recognize Your presence and guidance. My ever-living God, I trust in You. Amen.

Matthew 8:8-9. December 2, 2024. Supreme Authority, Lord Jesus.
You are all-powerful, supreme, and worthy of all honor and praise. When we surrender to You, everything becomes possible. I recall the Centurion, a man of authority, who approached You, surrendered, and acknowledged Your supreme authority. You blessed him and healed his servant instantly. Lord Jesus, may I grow in faith and trust in You. May I always remember that You are the only One who is holy, powerful, and good. Give me the grace to turn to You alone in times of need. You are my great healer, deliverer, and consoler. Like the Centurion, I surrender everything to You. By my power, I can do nothing, but with You, all things are possible. You are Lord of all. My Jesus, I trust in You. Amen
