Fruits Of My Daily Meditation For November 2024

Matthew 4:18-19. Nov. 30, 2024. May I Stand Firm in Devotion and commitment, Lord

Lord Jesus, my Master, I pray to stand firm in my commitment to You. Just as You called Andrew, the humble fisherman, to become a fisher of men, I ask for Your grace to understand that life with You is infinitely better than life without You. Fill me with the same courage and conviction that Andrew had, to leave everything behind and follow You. Teach me to cherish true and loving friendships with everyone I meet, and to be a faithful ambassador for Your kingdom. You remind me, Lord, that Your gaze is always upon me, and that You long for me to be Your friend and servant. Give me the strength to work tirelessly to bring others into Your kingdom, just as Andrew did. Saint Andrew, pray for me. My Lord and Master Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 21:32-33. Nov. 29, 2024.  You Are My Eternal Word That Never Change, Lord.

Word Everlasting, Jesus, I put my trust in Your word, for it never fails or changes. While everything else may pass away, Your word stands firm forever. In moments of trial, difficulty, confusion, and frustration, I turn to You for solace. Abandon me not, O Lord, in times of distress and doubt, but shine Your light to dispel all darkness. You are my refuge in times of distress. May I see Your loving kindness and the protection You promised me all the days of my life. Give me the strength, Lord, to stand firm amidst life’s changes, both in this world and the world to come. May I cling to Your promises and never let go. My Jesus, I believe and trust in You. Amen.

Luke 21:28. Nov. 28:2024 Trust And Devotion To You Eternal Present Lord. My ever-present Jesus, I praise and worship You for Your constant presence in my life. You are always close, saving Your people in times of difficulty, trial, and temptation. You remind me today, dear Lord, that in moments of distress, You are near. When I call upon You, answer me and keep me safe. Your protection is my shield, and with You, I need not tremble. As You have promised, You, our Redeemer, are always close to us. May my hope and trust in You never falter as I live each day, anchored in Your words. Prepare me, dear Lord, to receive You when You come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. May I be ready, steadfast in my faith, and devoted to Your will. My saving Lord Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 21:14:15. Nov. 27, 2024. Eternal Trust In Your Wisdom, O Lord Jesus, my Heavenly Barrister, You are the ultimate Judge of the world. I’m grateful for Your friendship and guidance in my life. You protect and save me from dangers and persecutions according to Your will. I acknowledge my limitations and inability to save myself. But with You by my side, I’m confident that I’m not alone in times of distress and persecution. Your promise in Luke 21:14 gives me courage: “I myself shall give you a wisdom…” Fill me with a heart of mercy, humility, and love when faced with persecution. May I respond as You did during Your time on earth; with humility and love. Give me the grace to trust in Your goodness and not seek revenge when afflicted for You ask me to bless those who persecute me. You are my Judge, my Rock, and my Salvation. May Your wisdom guide me every day, dear Lord. Jesus, my Heavenly Barrister, I trust in You. Amen. Reflection Points: 1. Trust in God’s wisdom and guidance in times of uncertainty. 2. Recognize your limitations and rely on God’s power and strength. 3. Respond to persecution with humility, love, and mercy, just as Jesus did.

Luke 21:5-6. Nov. 26, 2024. Eternal Source Of Peace, Lord Jesus My Savior Jesus, You prepare me for life’s challenges, cautioning me about persecutions, trials, and temptations. You teach me to stand firm, unafraid and undeceived when faced with adversity. Life’s journey can be difficult, with moments of sadness, abuse, hatred, and persecution. But Your words, dear Jesus, give me courage, consolation, and understanding. Help me to know Your truth, my source of peace and strength. In times of persecution, be my rock, my shelter, and my comfort. My saving Jesus, I trust in Your protection and love. Amen.

Luke 21:1-4. Nov. 25, 2024. O Lord, You are all I want And All I Need

Eternal Surrender to You, O Lord Jesus. You are my everything, all I want and all I need. All-powerful Jesus, Your goodness, mercy, and kindness know no bounds. You are the ultimate friend, the treasure everyone should seek. Like the poor widow of today’s Gospel, I trust that giving my all to You means having You fully. You are the Lord of my life, my one and only God. With You, I have everything: true peace, love, joy, and happiness. I surrender my all to You, without reserve, and ask that You bestow Your salvific riches upon me. Fill me, dear Lord, with the knowledge that all I am and all I have come from You and belong to You and You alone, now and forever. My loving Jesus, I trust in Your divine providence. Amen.

John 18:36. Nov. 24, 2024. Eternal Praise to You, O Jesus, King of the Universe My Lord and my God, Jesus, You reign supreme as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Your dominion extends over all creation; there is none like You. With angels and saints, I join in heavenly worship, adoring and praising You. You are my everything – my desire, my need, my King forever. You are the faithful friend who never fails, the Good Shepherd guiding me through life’s journey, and the Protector whose angels safeguard me. Who can compare to Your Majesty, O Lord? You are the Most High King, all-powerful, all-knowing, and Omnipresent. Only You can liberate the captives, heal the brokenhearted, welcome the lost, restore the penitent, and bring salvation to our world. I vow to adore and praise You, my King and my God, now and forever. May Your Kingdom reign supreme on earth, as it is in heaven. My Jesus, King of the Universe, I adore You, praise You, and trust in Your mighty saving power. Amen.”

Luke 20 37-37. Nov. 23, 2024. Eternal Life Is Sure In You, O Lord

My resurrected Jesus, In You, we live, move, and have our being. Through baptism and the power of Your resurrection, we are forever Your living creation. Whether in life or death, all who believe in You belong to You and will live on in You until the Resurrection of the Dead and the life of the world to come. Dear Lord, May Your purifying love continue to transform me, until the day You return in glory. Help me remain in the state of grace until I behold the new heaven and the new earth. My Everlasting Lord and God, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 19:43-44. Nov. 21, 2024. Fill My Heart With Holy Sorrow, Lord.

My Lord and my God, You desire my obedience and growth in faith, that I may attain salvation. My lack of faith grieves You, and You weep, just as You lamented Jerusalem’s future destruction. Help me, dear Lord, to mourn my sins and that of those that offend me. Grant me a holy sorrow for the sins of others, and the faithlessness that surrounds me. Empower me to renounce sin and seek Your joy, avoiding the pitfalls of unfaithfulness. Like You, sweet Jesus, may I lament with compassion, those who persecute or harm me, for they know not what they do. My sorrowful Lord Jesus, I trust in Your sorrowful heart and Your transformative power. Amen.

Luke 19:45-46. Nov. 22, 2024. Purify My Heart And Sanctify Your World, O Lord. My Sanctifying Jesus, Your zeal to sanctify Your Father’s house inspires me, to seek holiness in my own life. Your love for me desires that I worship God with all my heart, keeping sacred the things of God. Cleanse my heart, Your temple within me, where You reside, and make Your home. May Your desire to purify the world be fulfilled, just as You sanctified the Jerusalem temple. I invite You to sanctify our world today, granting me the courage to rebuke evil and purify myself. Inspire me with Your boldness to reject evil, and help others avoid its grasp. O Lord, continue Your purifying mission on earth, and may my thoughts, words, and actions join You in this mission. My purifying Jesus, I trust in You. Amen

Luke 19:12-14. No. 20, 2024. May I Unleash My Talents, Lord

My Lord and my God, Thank You for creating me and entrusting me with unique talents. I’m grateful for the blessings You’ve bestowed upon me. You desire that I utilize these gifts to grow in faith and contribute to the expansion of Your kingdom. Dearest Jesus, empower me to overcome laziness, shyness, and neglect and unleash my talents for God’s Glory. Fill me with determination and zeal to harness my talents for Your glory. May I serve You faithfully, according to Your will. My Divine Provider, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 19:1-3. November 19, 20 2024.  My Heart Is Thirsting For You, O God

My Lord Jesus, Zacheus’ eagerness inspires me, as he climbed a tree to behold Your presence. Like him, my soul thirsts for You, O Lord my God. What would You do with a poor sinner like me? Where can I go, what can I do, to behold Your face, my God? My saving Lord Jesus, Zacheus’ determination is my example, as he sought to catch a glimpse of You. You saw him, knew his heart, and called him. Lord Jesus, You’ve shown me that You seek and save the lost. May my longing for You grow stronger each day, until You welcome me as a true friend. Come, dear Lord, and reside in the home of my soul, that I may experience the transformative power of Your love. Help me abandon every obstacle that hindered me, from seeking You in the past. My saving Lord, I trust in You. Amen.

Luke 18:35-39. Nov. 18, 2024.  Have Pity On Me Jesus Son Of David

My merciful Jesus, Bartimaeus cried out to you, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me.” In the same way, O merciful Jesus, I cry to you today.  Have pity on me for I am not perfect. Have pity on the whole world for it has despised your plan in many ways. As I stay attentive at my prayer place as a beggar, dear Lord,  I hope, believe, and trust you will pass by and I will feel Your presence and hear Your gentle voice. Then like Bartimaeus, I call out, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me” and may your mighty healing power fall upon my family. Give me the grace, dear Lord, to boldly call for you in every moment of need. May I remain focused and cry out louder when obstacles come my way. Jesus my Mighty Physician, I trust in You. Amen

Mark 13:24-25. November 17, 2024. Strengthen Our Faith Amid Persecutions, O Lord

My Lord and my God, You are my sole protector and Savior. You know all about Your Church and me. Thank You for Your word that Strengthens our Faith and prepares us for life’s challenges. You promised that amidst persecution, You’ll be very near to us. Keep my faith and the Church’s faith unshaken, in temptation, trials and persecution. Grant us grace to stand firm, trusting You as our Lord and protector. My saving Lord Jesus, I trust in You.

Amen.

You are always there for me and ready to respond to my calls.  When I persevere and am persistent in prayer, You respond to me and Your response is always just and always for my good. You desire that I should unite with You always like a branch to the vine.  O Lord, fill my heart with an abundance of mercy and compassion for others and help me to respond to their needs with true mercy and justice. May I grow in trust and hope that You will always answer my prayers the way you want and not the way I want. My wise Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Luke 17:26-27. Nov. 15, 2024. Help Me To Stay Alerted, Lord

My dearest Jesus, You desire that I stay prepared at all times, free from procrastination, and do good always. Help me live each day with readiness, as if it were the last, for I know not the hour of Your final coming. Help me dear Lord to acknowledge Your coming to me every day in Your Spirit and that I may stay prepared for that unknown precious moment when we shall meet face to face. Grant me the grace to acknowledge Your daily presence in Your Spirit, and keep me prepared for our face-to-face meeting. Help me choose heavenly realities over earthly temptations. Fill my heart daily with Your grace, obedience to Your will, mercy, compassion, love, forgiveness, self-control, self-sacrifice, and the grace of physical readiness. O Lord, may I live for you now and forever. My Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

My commanding Father, You desire that all your children be good and live worthy lives. You give us your commands not out of hatred but out of pure and true love for us. Your commandments to me are out of Your deep and perfect love for my good and never to destroy me. Your commands, O God, guide my steps not to go astray and help me to remain in total obedience to You. Following Your commands, Lord, bring me peace, joy, and self-fulfillment. Help me, dear God, to listen to You always and do what You want me to do for You and You alone are the only Lord of my life. I have no other Lord and Master but You. Luke 17:1-2  November 11, 2024.  You Desire That I Should Love every sinner, Lord

My Loving and compassionate Jesus, you love sinners unconditionally and desire always that they return to you. You are not pleased with those who cause others to sin. You teach me today to love sinners and You desire deeply that I should not cause others to sin. Dear Lord, by your grace, help me not to cause others to sin by evoking their emotions, taking them for granted, belittling them, judging and condemning them, misleading them, or taking advantage of their vulnerability. May I develop a soft, gentle, and loving attitude towards all those who displease me in any way, and strive to love and be compassionate to everyone around me as You are loving and compassionate to them. My loving Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Mark 12:41-42. Nov. 10, 2024. You Judge My Heart, O Lord

You see and judge my actions always and You know why I do what I do. You desire that I should live more on the values of your spiritual kingdom than the values of the world. O Lord, help me with Your grace to always offer myself generously with trust in You and Your divine providence. You gave your all to save me, Jesus, may I be able to dedicate myself and all that I have to Your service and for Your glory. My generous Jesus,  I trust in you. Amen

My life-giving Jesus, the Church is Your body and You give life to the Church. When I love the Church, I love You. You desire to cleanse Your Church here on Earth by cleansing all its members. Dear Lord, may I love You and Your Church with all the zeal in me and let Your love and the love of your house consume me always. As a member of Your Body; The Church, dear Lord, cleanse and purify me; cast away every sin in my soul, every filth that keeps me from performing my role as a member of Your body the Church. My omnipotent God, you created the universe and everything in it belongs to you. My life and all that I own is Yours. Yes Lord, when I do not have what I love, let me love what you give me. If I can’t achieve up to the measure I want, let me receive the measure You give me. If I cannot go the miles I want to go, let me maintain the distance you want me to cover. If I cannot evangelize the way I want, let me evangelize in any little way you enable me to. If I cannot speak the way I  like, let your  Spirit speak through me the way you want. If I cannot hear what I want to hear, let me hear what you want to tell me. As for me and all still living grant us purity of heart that we shall all see You face to face one day as you promise those who are pure in heart. Have mercy, O Lord, for every sin of ours even the smallest ones, forgive and purify us and all our beloved ones still waiting for purification in purgatory. My merciful Jesus, I trust in you. Amen

Matthew 5:1-3. Nov. 1, 2024 You desire that all may be saints, Lord

My glorious Jesus, you promised all those who are poor in Spirit that theirs is the kingdom of heaven. You desired that all may be saints.  It has come to pass, dear Lord, that many of such are already with you in glory. As we remember and honor them this day in happiness and joy, grant that we may live lives of faithfulness, holiness, love, peace, and harmony worthy to lead us one day to join the company of your saints in heaven. Increased our hunger and thirst for righteousness and perseverance in persecutions that we may receive its reward in the fullness of time. May we long to become saints not only in heaven but in the present world.  My glorified Lord Jesus, I trust in You. Amen
