Exploring The Sneakily Letter Ss.
Title: The Letter S - Sound and Formation
Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the recognize its sound, and write it correctly.
1. Flashcards with the letter S and objects/pictures starting with S (sun, snake, star, etc.)
2. Whiteboard or chart paper
3. Markers or chalk
4 coloring pages with the letter S
Lesson Plan:
1. Introduction (5 minutes):
- Greet the students and review the previous lesson on the letter R.
- Introduce the letter S by showing the flashcard and asking the students if they know what letter it is. Encourage the students to make the sound of the letter S together.

2. Phonics Activity - Sound of S (10 minutes):
- Using the flashcards, show pictures or objects that start with S and ask the students to identify them.
- Repeat each word, emphasizing the initial sound of S.
- Have the students practice saying the words out loud, focusing on the sound of the letter S.

3. Writing Activity - Formation of Ss (15 minutes):
- Demonstrate how to write the letter S on the whiteboard or chart paper.
- Show the correct formation, starting from the top and making a curve down before going back up.
- Give each student a worksheet or coloring page with the letter S and ask them to trace or draw the letter.
