Alphabet Order Fun!
Title: Alphabet Order Fun! Specific Objective: By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to read the alphabet in the correct alphabetical order. Teaching Materials : – Large alphabet chart or flashcards – Individual alphabet charts or worksheets – Manipulative letters (magnetic, foam, or cardboard letters) – Whiteboard or blackboard – Markers or chalkIntroduction (5 minutes) a. Warm-up (2 minutes): Begin the lesson by reviewing the names and sounds of the letters with the students. Ask them to participate by saying the letter names and making the corresponding sounds as you point to each letter on the large alphabet chart or flashcards. b. Introduction (3 minutes): -Tell the students that today, they will learn about arranging letters in alphabetical order. Explain that alphabetical order is the arrangement of letters according to their place in the alphabet. – Show them an example of alphabetical order using a few letters from the alphabet.

Main Activity (10 minutes): Arranging letter cards in alphabetical Order. Do some or all of these: a. Distribute individual alphabet charts or worksheets to each student (if available) and provide them with manipulative letters. b. Use the whiteboard or blackboard to write a random sequence of letters. Let the Kids identify while you write in order. c. Model how to arrange those letters in alphabetical order by asking students for guidance and assistance, and using their manipulative letters as needed. d. Have the students participate by arranging the letters on their charts or worksheets and discussing their reasoning for the placements.

Practice (5 minutes): a. Divide the students into pairs or small groups. b. Give each group a set of manipulative letters and ask them to arrange the letters in alphabetical order independently. c. Circulate around the classroom, providing support as needed and checking for understanding.
