A lesson Note on teaching kindergarteners how to write the letter Cc

Title: Discovering the Letter Cc


Objective: By the end of this week, students will be able to recognize and write the letter Cc in uppercase and lowercase forms. They will also read words beginning with the letter Cc.


Materials:

- Chart paper

- Markers

- Letter Cc worksheets (printouts or copies)

- Pencils or crayons

- Whiteboard and markers (optional)

- Letter Cc flashcards (optional)


Procedure:

1. Introduction (5 minutes):

- In this First Lesson, engage the students in a discussion about the alphabet. Ask questions like:

- "Can anyone name any letters in the alphabet?"

- "What sounds do these letters make?"

- Show them an uppercase and lowercase letter Cc on the chart paper or whiteboard.
